In Process Pictures
The three sculptures visually communicate innovation, trusting the process, and redirection. While exploring the materials to build the sculptures, I wanted to focus on creativity because interesting designs are important in my creative journey. Thats why I decided to add unique elements. When I felt the work was laking I ended up adding the orange wood to the negative space sculpture and weaving to the back of the repetition sculpture. I want to keep exploring experimental techniques and I want to learn more about sculpture as an art practice in totally. These pieces allowed me to explore material I would have otherwise never used. The making of this work exposed new ideas like strange color palettes and how to connect multiple pieces even if they are very different.
